You might be wondering, what it’s really like at New Hope Rising. Simply stated, we're all about Kingdom. Our church is made up of ordinary people with every kind of story imaginable.
We are a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and want as many people as possible to experience that same freedom. We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural church for all ages and stages of life. We're here as a family, raising Hope for future generations.
Where we come from
Formerly known as Victorious Life Christian Center, New Hope Rising Church relaunched under new leadership in the fall of 2020. Pastor Ray and Gail Kirkland came to Flagstaff with the intention of raising up a church body that impacts our community with the radical love of God, winning souls, and making disciples of all generations! We stand firm as a church that is truly welcoming. Our desire is that everyone has a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender.

New Hope Rising Church has a passion to reach the surrounding region of Northern Arizona with the true love of God. We are a missions-minded church focused on reaching people and making disciples. We understand that we have been rescued to be rescuers, we have been helped to help, healed to heal, and loved to love.
With a Kingdom mindset, we are moving forward, building leaders, and learning to operate in the authority and dominion that was given us through the resurrection power of Christ Jesus.
